💰 They’re using OUR tax dollars for THEIR power grab:
Public funds are being funneled into authoritarian actions—deploying federal forces, taking control of local police, and funding mass detention and deportation—while vital services are being slashed. 👑 We stand united against kings: President Trump has openly expressed a desire for a third term, acting like a monarch—seizing control of D.C., threatening cities, and deploying federal forces against Americans. But America was founded on the idea that no one is above the law. We will mobilize peacefully, yet powerfully, to reject these abuses of power. Our country’s spirit is rooted in resistance to tyranny. ✋ They’ve crossed the line: This is more than political disagreement. This administration has defied courts, deported citizens, disappeared people from streets, and gutted essential services—all while enriching billionaires. Enough is enough. If you believe they’ve gone too far, this movement is for you. We’re uniting to stand against corruption, cruelty, and abuse of power. On October 18, we come together to remind President Trump and his allies: America has No Kings! Whether you’re outraged by assaults on civil rights, rising costs, disappearances, or the attack on free speech—this moment is for you. If you’ve been fighting for years or if you’re just fed up and ready to act, your voice matters now. 🛑 We need to show the strength of the people—peacefully and visibly. On October 18, events will take place across the country—cities and towns in every state—to demonstrate that the majority of Americans are standing up against corruption and authoritarianism. 💪 The power is in your hands. Join us. Find a mobilization nearby and sign up to participate. If there isn’t one in your area, use this toolkit to organize your own event. Together, we can make our voices heard and defend our democracy. On Thursday, June 26, 2025, Disappeared in America, a National Day of Action, will include:
While Americans believe in the rule of law in the United States, the courts are also saying that due process is required. When the Trump administration ignores the courts and disappear lawful residents, there is no limit to what can come next. President Trump has said he wants to abduct and deport U.S. citizens. If this isn’t stopped now, no one is safe. The Trump administration's policies have fueled fear and anxiety among families, regardless of status. This leads to unnecessary stress, including, including physical health and behavioral issues, psychosomatic symptoms, and mental health problems like depression and anxiety. Pediatricians also warn of long-term consequences from toxic stress, while many families avoid seeking services out of fear. Young children and teens, especially those with immigrant parents, experience heightened anxiety and emotional distress. Fear of family separation affects attendance and development. Trump’s policies have also increased worker stress, further impacting mental health. A primary objective of this campaign is to call on local sheriffs and police to refuse to cooperate with ICE directives - for example, renting jail beds to ICE, participating in immigration raids, or transferring individuals to ICE detention centers (concentration camps). Sheriffs, state and highway patrol, and other local law enforcement have broad discretion in how much they cooperate with ICE, and exercising that discretion can help protect our communities. Having local law enforcement, and even the U.S. military participate with federal immigration puts an unnecessary burden on resources, but also erodes trust within our communities. It's time for law enforcement and the U.S. military to stand up to justice, human rights, and community integrity. A core principle behind all Disappeared in America events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. How Can You Help?
