2. Family and Community Reflection Exercises
Sharing, Talking, & Listening: Gather with family or neighbors and take turns sharing stories of resilience, hope, or resistance. Listen deeply and celebrate each other's strength. Practice Self-Care: Remember to practice self-care among adults and children. Create a Resilience Tree: Draw a tree on a large piece of paper. Write or illustrate qualities, skills, or stories that make your community strong on the branches or roots. Reflect on how these elements help us stand tall together. Cultural Reflection: Discuss cultural traditions, songs, or stories that have helped your family or community stay connected during tough times. Plan a family storytelling night to share these traditions with loved ones. Action Reflection: Think about small steps you can take today to support your community’s safety and well-being. Write or draw these actions and commit to doing them. |

Your voice matters. If you feel comfortable, share your story of resilience, hope, or resistance with our community. Your story can inspire others and help build a collective sense of strength. Please note: Respect your privacy. Feel free to share anonymously or with only your family or community if you prefer. You can also print your story anonymously, and post it on community bulletin boards. |
