FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New Report Highlights Lessons from the Epstein Case on Power, Survivors, and the Fight for Justice San Diego — November 12, 2025 — A new in-depth report titled "What the Epstein Case Teaches Us About Power, Survivors, and Accountability" examines the ongoing implications of Jeffrey Epstein’s scandal, revealing critical insights into systemic failures, the importance of transparency, and the urgent need for justice for survivors of sexual abuse. Despite Epstein’s death in 2019, the fight for truth and accountability continues in 2025. The report underscores how privilege, secrecy, and influence have historically protected powerful offenders while silencing victims. It details the unresolved questions surrounding Epstein’s covert dealings, the delayed release of files, and the broader societal failure to hold perpetrators accountable. “This case is a stark reminder of how systemic power can distort justice and how institutional betrayal compounds trauma for survivors,” said The CIRCLE, the report’s author. “It also highlights the critical need for transparency and legislative action to prevent future abuses of power.” The report explores key issues including the 2008 non-prosecution agreement, the ongoing fight to unseal Epstein’s files, and the consequences of delayed justice. It emphasizes that the Epstein case is not isolated but a “stress test” for how society responds to sexual violence involving the powerful. What You Can Do: The report concludes with actionable steps, urging the public to support legislative efforts like the Epstein Files Transparency Act and to back survivor-centered organizations advocating for justice and healing. Currently, the United States faces a challenging and uncertain future. The country’s condition has changed dramatically from what it was before 2025. Historically, American citizens, visitors, and the general public benefited from government protections guaranteed by federal agencies—covering fundamental human rights, dignity, mental health, healthcare, medication, disease prevention, research, financial stability, food and water safety, air quality, and more. These protections made the U.S. a model nation, built over centuries with the dedicated efforts of those who served and worked to uphold these values.
Today, as we honor our military veterans, let us also remember what they have protected. And let us commit to Take Action by contacting our congressional representatives to advocate for the return of these essential protections and ensure that the U.S. military is never used against its own people on American soil.
Washington, D.C., November 5, 2025 — Join us during the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting and Conference of over 14,000 (conference and meeting attendees). Thousands of advocates for public health, science, and healthcare are set to gather in Washington, D.C., for a major rally and march aimed at addressing urgent health issues and demanding accountability from the federal government.
Over 100,000 petition signatures will be handed over during the march, demanding the resignation or removal of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from his position as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). The coalition contends that Kennedy's leadership is incompatible with the goals of fostering evidence-based health policies and protecting public health. "Our rally and march are a call to action," said Jane Doe, spokesperson for the organizing coalition. "We are standing up for science, health equity, and the integrity of our public health systems. It's time for accountability at the highest levels." The event has garnered widespread support from healthcare professionals, scientists, advocacy groups, and concerned citizens eager to see meaningful change in federal health policy and leadership. The march will culminate at the Capitol, where petition signatures will be presented to congressional representatives, urging them to take swift action to address the leadership issues within HHS. As tensions mount over the direction of national health policies, tomorrow’s rally and march underscore the urgent demand from the public and health advocates for transparent, science-based governance and accountability in the highest levels of government. Urgent Alert: A Federal Government Shutdown Threatens SNAP Benefits for Over 41.7 Million Americans10/28/2025
The SNAP Contingency Reserve is Legally Available! The Role of the SNAP Contingency Reserve Contrary to recent claims by the Trump Administration that SNAP benefits are not available during a shutdown because the “contingency funds are not legally available,” past practice and legal interpretations suggest otherwise. The USDA and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) have previously affirmed that the SNAP Contingency Reserve is available to fund regular benefits during a shutdown. Historically, during both Republican and Democratic administrations, the contingency reserve has been used to ensure continued benefit payments during shutdowns or funding lapses. The law explicitly provides the authority for the government to utilize these reserves to prevent disruptions in benefits. In fact, the Trump Administration itself previously acknowledged that the contingency reserve could be used to fund SNAP benefits in prior shutdown scenarios, including as recently as 2018-2019. It is crucial that the current administration utilize all available tools, including the SNAP Contingency Reserve, to ensure that families do not lose their benefits during this critical time. Legal Actions and State Efforts You Can SupportMore than half of the states have filed lawsuits against the federal government, challenging the administration’s stance and advocating for the use of the SNAP Contingency Reserve. These legal actions highlight the widespread concern and urgency surrounding the potential loss of food assistance for millions of Americans. Find your governor and urge support. Additionally, numerous professional organizations, advocacy groups, and community leaders are urging Congress to act immediately. They emphasize that the funds in the SNAP Contingency Reserve are legally available and must be immediately used to maintain benefit payments during the shutdown. The CIRCLE, in addition to the following urges to take action.
How Can You Help?Immediate action is needed. Citizens are encouraged to contact their congressional representatives and demand that Congress and the administration utilize the SNAP Contingency Reserve to fund benefits during the shutdown. Public pressure can make a difference—your voice can help prevent millions from going hungry.
The time to ensure food security for all Americans is now. Contact your congressional representatives today and stand for those who rely on SNAP to put food on their tables References

The CIRCLE’s Commitment to Supporting Children and Immigrant Families During World Mental Health Day10/10/2025
World Mental Health Day World Mental Health Day, observed annually on October 10th, aims to raise awareness about mental health issues worldwide and promote efforts to improve mental health care for all. Recognized by the World Health Organization and various organizations globally, this day highlights the importance of understanding mental health as a critical component of overall well-being. According to the World Health Organization, more than 1 in 8 people globally live with a mental health disorder, yet many do not receive adequate support or treatment. By fostering conversations, reducing stigma, and advocating for accessible mental health services, World Mental Health Day plays a vital role in advancing mental health awareness and ensuring that individuals and communities receive the support they need to thrive. While World Mental Health Day highlights the critical importance of mental health awareness, The CIRCLE is committed to ongoing support and resources throughout the entire month of October. We continue to provide valuable mental health resources and information to help immigrant children and families affected by traumatic immigration experiences, including those related to ICE detention and family separation. In addition, we provide valuable resources to help children and families with mental health resources to help support organizations such as the National Immigration Justice Center, the National Immigration Law Center, Democracy Now, Democracy Forward, and Indivisible, ensuring that communities have access to resources, advocacy, and information needed to promote healing, resilience, and justice beyond this special day. Stress and Trauma Among Children and Families in the United States in 2025 The stress resulting from ICE immigration enforcement and family separation is significantly increasing mental health challenges among children in affected communities and schools across the United States. Many immigrant children experience heightened anxiety, fear, and emotional distress due to the uncertainty of family reunification or detention, which can impair their ability to focus and succeed academically. This growing mental health burden underscores the urgent need for targeted support and resources to help children cope with these traumatic experiences and promote their well-being within their families and communities. The following describes the immediate resources that the CIRCLE provides to families, children, and communities. Key Resources and Activities Include:
Resources for Rights and Advocacy: The CIRCLE provides information and support to help immigrant families understand and advocate for their rights. This ensures families are informed about legal protections and community resources available to them. Broader Goals:
Through these efforts, The CIRCLE aims to raise awareness about the specific mental health needs of immigrant children and families affected by immigration enforcement. By offering immediate, practical support and fostering resilience, The CIRCLE honors the spirit of World Mental Health Day—highlighting the importance of mental health care, community support, and policy advocacy to address and mitigate trauma among immigrant populations. Shocking Military-Style Raid in Chicago Sparks Outrage and Fear A recent report details a disturbing military-style raid on a residential building in Chicago, which took place around 1 a.m. on Tuesday. Dozens of individuals dressed in tactical uniforms stormed a five-story apartment complex, detaining residents and causing widespread trauma. One U.S. citizen, who was detained during the operation, recounted how agents forcibly entered his home, breaking down the door and dragging him out in zip ties. The raid's aftermath left neighbors shaken, with children visibly traumatized by the violence and chaos. Witnesses described screams and crying, highlighting the devastating impact on families and young children exposed to such traumatic events. The atmosphere of fear and confusion has left many questioning the justification and transparency behind this aggressive tactic. The trump administration is using broad and unverified accusations—claiming the operation targeted suspected members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, along with individuals accused of drug, weapons, and immigration violations. However, there remains a troubling lack of evidence or clarity about who was detained, their actual guilt, or the extent of any alleged criminal activity. Allegations have also surfaced about the treatment of detainees, with reports of starvation, overcrowded conditions, and a lack of basic necessities—conditions reminiscent of concentration camps. Victims reportedly lost hundreds of pounds in detention, illustrating severe human rights abuses during these operations across the country as the administration continues attacking, and assaulting, and putting 100,000 citizens per day. Unfortunately this is not the before 2025 U.S. military, these are the trump administration masked, unidentified and heavily armed people causing terror inflicted on families, authorities have yet to disclose crucial details about the arrests. Critics argue that this approach resembles state-sponsored intimidation rather than justice, with ongoing concerns about civil liberties and the use of force against American citizens. The Torture and Trauma is Dangerous and Real The attached article reported describing a military-style attack on United States citizen in Chicago, around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, dozens of military-style uniforms swept through the five-story building. They state one of many residents who were detained by federal agents during the South Shore raid. A U.S. citizen, he said agents broke through his door and dragged him out in zip ties. The raid had left her neighbors terrified with children horrified after being exposed to such trauma that will leave lifelong impacts to their brain development. The kids were crying. People was screaming. Like any type of abuser, they make excuses and justify their abusive behavior, denying, blaming, making false statement to fulfil and justify their actions. Similarly, the trump administration, authoritarian regime, again, using the excuse that their operation targeted suspected members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang as well as people accused of drug and weapons crimes and immigration violations. Just like any abuser, using excuses to justify their abusive tactics and behavior. While they torture, assault, and will further exposure them to starvation, thirst, overcrowded living condition in a fenced pen, without food or water, despite having set times for 3 – meals a day (but reports show little food and often meals missed), etc., many victims of these kidnapping by the new United States authoritarian and dangerous regime, loose 100s of pound from starvation in only 2 months of being imprisoned in these concentration camps. While these masked and military armed people attacked people in the United States in their private home, terrorizing children, and families, they still provide zero evidence of who was taken into custody, how many, and if they were liked to any gang activity. Meanwhile the trump administration continues to terrorize citizens suggesting he is at war with people.
