HandsOff launched National Day Action, mobilizing millions across the country who took to the streets in over 1,300 peaceful “Hands Off!” protests spanning all 50 states, U.S. territories, and numerous locations around the globe. This unprecedented turnout far surpassed expectations, highlighting the widespread opposition to the authoritarian overreach of Trump and Musk, which threatens the livelihoods of everyday Americans. The HandsOff moment is to assert ourselves and declare NO. No more looting, no more theft, and no more billionaires exploiting our government while everyday people struggle to get by. A fundamental principle of Hands Off! is a commitment to nonviolent action. HandsOff participants focused on on de-escalating any potential conflicts with those who hold differing views.

This national mobilization aims to confront what is arguably the most audacious power grab in modern history. Trump, Musk, and their billionaire allies are executing a concerted attack on our government, economy, and fundamental rights, with Congress facilitating their every move.
