Washington, D.C., November 5, 2025 — Join us during the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting and Conference of over 14,000 (conference and meeting attendees). Thousands of advocates for public health, science, and healthcare are set to gather in Washington, D.C., for a major rally and march aimed at addressing urgent health issues and demanding accountability from the federal government.
Over 100,000 petition signatures will be handed over during the march, demanding the resignation or removal of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from his position as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). The coalition contends that Kennedy's leadership is incompatible with the goals of fostering evidence-based health policies and protecting public health. "Our rally and march are a call to action," said Jane Doe, spokesperson for the organizing coalition. "We are standing up for science, health equity, and the integrity of our public health systems. It's time for accountability at the highest levels." The event has garnered widespread support from healthcare professionals, scientists, advocacy groups, and concerned citizens eager to see meaningful change in federal health policy and leadership. The march will culminate at the Capitol, where petition signatures will be presented to congressional representatives, urging them to take swift action to address the leadership issues within HHS. As tensions mount over the direction of national health policies, tomorrow’s rally and march underscore the urgent demand from the public and health advocates for transparent, science-based governance and accountability in the highest levels of government. How Else Can You Help?
